Exit Interview: The End of This Job

in life •  7 years ago

My exit interview forms among others has been completed

It is time to move on.

My professional terms as a Banker just ended here with my last 2 days approaching. My colleagues celebrated my farewell soon and I have mixed feeling about leaving. I'm anxious, hopeful, and scared of the path I'm choosing but I have no doubt every decision that I make is for my own good.

No I'm Not Going Full time on Steemit

Believe me, if that option is available, I won't doubt it to go that way. It's just that I am in a long way to be self-sufficient in Steemit. The way I see it, I need around USD2000 (US DOLLAR not STEEM DOLLAR) per month to live comfortably in Malaysia and it is way out of reach with my mini Steem Power (yet!).

Best believed that I am having a good time here in Steemit and learning (and earning) just like everybody else. I wish for that day to come for me to say goodbye to corporation and finally channel my energy through blogging.

I went on to blog despite earning merely 0.01SBD per post, spending hours to draft but the value is not in SBD, but 'followers reached'. As you can see from just 63 followers until 911 today, so I must have been doing something right here.

With different horizon, I hope to continue my journey here with your help although maybe I'll be a bit busy trying to prove how workoholic I am to my new employer. haha.

I follow my heart...

Have fun,

Jen

P/S: I blogged about other stuff too!

Whatever road you are headed, good luck and best wishes! Looking forward to hearing about what happens after banking life.

I'm nervous about it. Will do don't worry! Thanks!

Many years ago, I was dreaming of making a living out of blogging. With that ambition I started to write my first blog post and up until my 100th blog post I still didn't earn much from my blog and I decided that I was just gonna do it for fun and not for money. I made a conclusion, like everything else, not everyone can make a living out of blogging. Everytime when things I did doesn't make any money, I will tell myself that I'm doing it all for fun and having fun doing it.

Good luck and all the very best in your future undertakings! :)

I think we work out the same way, and that disappointment leads itself here. Last time using blogspot I did not gain enough readers and shut that off. but actually consistency is the key. Since steemit already have a massive foundation (readers available), I think blogging here is the best bets.

Thanks @rodznocturne

All the best in your new endeavour!

Thanks @coloringiship ! I need that! hheh

All the best...btw, r u leaving the banking company or the industry as a whole?

Leaving the industry @asyrafahamed . ^_~

Your going to do well Jen. Just channel your energy into it :D

Thanks Danny!

All the best in your future en-devours.

Btw all you need to do is sell your Verge, and you can live like a Queen! :P

TQ @cryptochindian .. BTW about XVG, I lost 10k unit of them in web wallet. Seems like a fraud, the website owner took all XVG and run away and even say 'good luck proving we took your money'.

hmmm..... so sad...

What, that is horrible! Which website was this?

It was on Verge website reccomendation. A lot people lose verge there. The website was verge.xyz
