#MINNOWSFAUCET.......MINNOWS UNITE!!

Fellow hungry minnows - do you feel frustrated that you've put in time and energy writing blog posts that you are proud of, choosing the perfect photographs, developing your thoughts into several beautiful paragraphs, but yet you are lucky if you made a few cents? Do you feel that you are out there following a bunch of people and they are not all following you back? Do you feel like your rep is just never going up or not fast enough? Well, let’s talk about this.

I am also a minnow here almost two months, so I have had the same frustrations, BUT we must persist with putting in the time, energy, passion and work to build up our reputations and our connections here. This is an opportunity to practice your writing or artistic or photographic or oratorical skills on a captive audience, and as you improve and experiment you will get rewarded! It’s also a chance to open conversations with people and learn from each other. And you are not alone on Steemit – there are many other minnows here and if we all swim together we can make a bigger impact than we can separately.

Having fun and meeting new people from all over the world and learning new things are primary, as is having the desire and passion for blogging and sharing, because in the end the quality and value of what you blog as well as the relationships you have made here in Steemitland will determine your outcome. But wait, I’m not just here to be all self-righteous and noble. There is a way for you to get a leg up! (Okay, a fin. Whatever.)

When you join a community of fellow minnows within the big Steemit community it doesn't feel so overwhelming anymore.

You see, normally you can follow all of the people you want, BUT that doesn’t necessarily mean that they will follow you back. But #minnowsfaucet is different. Its founder, @nicnicy, made it that way. The following is how it works and how it benefits you and others in the community.

#minnowsfaucet is very SIMPLE!

STEP #1 You go to @nicnicy’s page daily and follow all of HIS followers and in return everyone who does this follows you. The first time you do this will take a long time! We know – we did it already. Please go through the entire list and follow everyone. That’s the only way this works.

STEP #2 in the V.I.P for DAILY ACTIVE members once a day you post one new active blog post that you feel proud of and feel it wasn't seen or appreciated, and as a member you and everybody else will read it, upvote it, comment on it, and possibly resteem it. If we all do this that can be hundreds of upvotes. This will raise your rep and keep you on the feed longer. It can also start conversations and relationships. So I strongly believe in #minnowsfaucet and think you should give it a try - you can’t lose; you can only gain from it!
