Yesterday I discovered Steemit and post a blog to introduce myself. You welcomed me very nicely and up-voted quite a lot my post.
Today I have the honor to find 150 SD in my balance, just because you supported my first post.

Why does my life as a student just changed ?

I have a place to freely speak my mind.

Yesterday I told you that i mostly lurk and don't post. Because the people here are very nicer than elsewhere (no troll like in Reddit for example), I don't mind to shoot a comment a post a blog, because I know people won't come back to me if what I wrote is not that good.

I have a place to learn stuff.

Steemit seems to be a place of exclusive content. People actually write their post, a give you a ton of information about many subjects. I learned many things since yesterday, and I think I will keep learning as the platform grow.

I took part of a community.

People cheered me just to introduce myself. I commented to other peoples post about what great the article was. I already feel like home, and I wan't to keep posting and up-voting blog that i find interesting.

And Because Money..

As a student we generally have to struggle with money, and just in one day you gave me a month worth of groceries. That's awesome and I like so much this community.
But money is not just for me, I can give someone money just by up-voting their post. I feel I directly influence their interest about this platform and I feel I am part of the reason they keep posting.

I really love steemit, but steemit won't be anything without the people that post here. So thank you all and keep posting, I will certainly read and up-vote your stories.
