wow this is a perfect representation of what happened when a new idea with the potential to change the world comes along. those without the capacity to truly grasp the concept usually end up trying to destroy progress rather than help it simply because it might change the power structure and their position in it or because the individuals with the power over the masses is afraid of the changes to come.
