SMALL BUT MIGHTY

in life •  7 years ago

Small things do powerful things beyond imaginations. it is not the size of a thing that matters but the content. If you have looked down on an idea, then it is time to have a different perspective now.

The bees are small animals but powerful. They are the world's most important insects in the life of humanity.
They have a great impact in the human life. They are noted as the world's greatest pollinators and without bees, humans would starve.

vegetables, flowers and fruit around depend on them to help them breed. Have you consider the sweetest food they provide for man, the honey. Thinking about how they come out with such sweet substances is beyond comprehension. They are indeed good and talented with what they do.

Another insect I find so amazing is the ant. They are very small and with small brains yet they have the ability to coordinate, build their own abode and look for food from different places.

How they have contributed to making impact in the life of humans is really amazing. Many plants have grown at many places due to their activities of transferring foodstuffs and other seedlings from one place to another. Their activities of stirring up the soil always help many materials to discompose and help enrich the soil making it rich for cultivation.

Have you seen ants sleeping or resting before? Well I haven't seen one before.
They are indeed industrious, always working tirelessly and never resting.

There is something worthy of emulation that we can learn from these two small insects yet powerful.

  • Small brains yet powerful: if only we use our big brains

You will realise how heavily the human brain is endowed by looking at the various brainy works created by human beings. It is said that we are only using a small portion of our brains, what if the whole is used. The listed animals have small brains yet they are affecting the human life more than many huge animals with bigger brains.

Source

We ought to learn some of their unique way of life. It is not how bigger a thing looks like that matters but what it contains. An idea may be small and still remains small but not until it is brought into fruition.

  • It is hidden just look for it

Bees and Ants are always on a search for something to store as food. The bees will fly to different places on a lookout for nectors to prepare honey whiles the ants also looks everywhere they can get food. The ideas leading to greater accomplishment are still there and inside you or around you lying dormant and untapped.
Source

it is just a matter of being on a lookout and you will discover. If only you deep down you or will look around you will discover something that would lead to a greater achievement. There are endless possibilities if only we will be on lookout.

  • Get help if you need to

Coordination is one of the hallmark of these animals. They are always working together, so lovely and admirable. They see how a work becomes easier when you work with others. indeed two are better than one. You may have an idea that you would want to see it materialised but at a point you need others who would also add up with their useful suggestions and support in many ways.

Source

It is very rare to see an ant carrying a bigger load all by itself without a fellow ant nearby to support. Again it is unlikely to see only one bee on a beehive preparing its honey, they are always around working in their numbers to see a mission accomplished. You can be the originator of an idea but at point it is necessary to incorporate others, perhaps the contributions you may get from them would better it and make it.

Remember it is not the size of a thing that matters but the content. If you have looked down on an idea, then it is time to have a different perspective now.

Size doesn't really matter indeed. There was one smallish guy in my class when I was in high school, he was the best amongst us all. His size did not really matter. It all depends on the effort to put in whatever you're doing.

Very true @w4c

You’re absolutely right! I really sensed passion from your writing ✍️. We should never despise the little things around us cos the secret of life is embedded on most of them.
