From an existential viewpoint, the things that cause use the most anxiety are the universal truths. Death, Isolation, Freedom/Responsibility, and Meaninglessness. Staying distracted and finding meaning in those distractions goes a long way to reducing anxiety. However, when it comes to death. I would say it's more about accepting that one day you will die than it is about distracting oneself from that fact. People with no fear of death are unlikely to be phased by many of life's daily hassles because anxiety, and especially panic attacks are a response to the body feeling like it is in danger. If we remove some of that fear, we have a lot higher functioning individual. I dug the post, giving you a follow.
