String hoppers, also known as putu mayam in Malaysia. Made from rice flour and steamed, it is served with freshly grated coconut and soft brown sugar. I prefer light brown sugar 😊

      My dad used to spoil our dinner by getting putu mayam, lots of them. I think the last time I had them was a more than a decade ago!
