Like riding a bicycle again

in life •  6 years ago

It's been one of those days again and it's all hands on deck.

My family has been busy and I happened to arrive back at the house and been given the job of baby sitting my seven month old grand son. This wouldn't have been a problem 25 years ago when I had my kids . I have kind of forgotten some things. Every baby is different and even though I help out someone has always been around.

They say once you have done something it is like riding a bike. The first time I rode a bike I was at the top of a hill and went into the bushes at the bottom. After that I was wise enough to use the brakes lol. I was only young so it was probably not as scary as it sounds and maybe one day will revisit that dreaded hill again.

Being a bit nervous is an understatement ,but it may be fun. It will be an experience for us both and I am hoping not longer than 4 or 5 hours. I am popping a post out now as there goes Steemit and whatever else I might do on here tonight. He has just woken up and now it is grand dad's time to step up to the plate.

I am sure we will both be stronger for this little episode tonight and can't wait for his mother to return.

haha! sir cryptoandcoffee! How did it go? I assume you survived? lol.

I must say, you are kind of like a superman with how you are able to take care of family life, while staying active on Steem, it's truly commendable man, that above all else, family values have the upmost importance in your life.

Your posts motivate me, and that is a really great picture of you and the grand son.

So how did you do? 🤪
