I always appreciate the kindness of some people in my life especially these times of the year

I am expecting a small basket full of fruits from my wealthy businessman neighbor, he always give gifts for such individuals like me, he does it because he is one of the well-to-do in our neighborhood and these gifts of basketful of fruits is just a drop in the bucket from his coffers of wealth but nowadays with the prices of fruits getting very high, he may or may not doo it anymore as a basketful of fruits is already expensive. He has a businesses all around and had been a politician too, a councilman from the province north from my province, in other words he is rich and so are some of his sons. I always welcome his gift of fruits for me of course because of course these are foods which me and my parents will enjoy. Now that fruits costs an arm and leg, his gift or donation is indeed will be a surprise if it does happen again and I will take it everytime.

It is very nice to have wealthy neighbors which in this instance can make a smile on your face if you will be the recipient of their kindness and generosity.

Also sometimes the district officers and some members of my church would visit me in random times and they would always surprise me, these events always before their offering of Thanksgiving to God, an activity as one of my church's gathering events that occur once every week. The highlights of the Thanksgiving are the quarterly Thanksgiving participated or offered by the whole congregation for times a year. Prior for offering Thanksgiving to God, most members do an act of kindness especially for the lowest sectors of society like the sick and disabled, the old members, etc., and give them some spiritual support as well as giving them a token of their kindness .

I feel embarrassed actually when they give me food or grocery gifts because I know that the members which are mostly poor had made an effort to contribute for making these gifts which is why I would always tell them not to visit me anymore for the reason these efforts are a burden for them. The members of our local or district church are really poor considering that they too have to contribute (voluntarily) to other much better cause in the church than helping me out for some reason and the other. But of course I would take gifts from them because it is our part of teaching to visit the weak, the lowest of the sectors of society for support especially to the members of the church although it extends to other people outside the church.

My brethren from my church sometimes would visit me and give me gifts of either basket of foods, some cash, or supplements whichever the case aside from uplifting my spirits with their group singing for as part of their visitation activity.

Also, there are two old ladies who always have a heart to remember me gives me a food gift all the time in which one of them gives me some fruits to eat during these occasions either before Christmas time or before the eve of New Year celebration whichever the time that she chooses. I also of course feel special and so because of it and me and my mother would always be elated with simple happiness the moment that she would call at our gate and hand over to my mother her gifts of fruits for me.

The other old lady also gives me foods whenever she feels likes it, I sometimes would be given some oysters to eat as she knows that I like eating those. Sometimes I would receive cooked blue crabs which are also my favorite food to eat although I find it difficult already to eat crabs because of the structure of my teeth and I find it really frustrating. If God wills it that I will be able to prepare a good meal for some occasion, I will really invite these two old ladies and eat with us with a chance of letting them bring home some of the foods too ha ha.

Well with the type of individual like me, I need all the love that I can get because not all people around really will be able to take notice of me and one of my fears really is to be left without people around caring for my existence. I am just fortunate the way I see it currently that I can have something which I can use to be able to support myself although love and compassion is really what I need in this world and beyond.

It is because of their donation of BLURT tokens for buying a new smartphone and some assistance from coming back home from the hospital respectively. So, I was able to have the battery replaced and got a great discount for it too by taking the service of the technician which replaced the battery years ago. Now I am using my old ASUS smartphone with a decent OEM battery which I am now taking care of so that I can maximize its use. However the original battery is far much better lasting for 30 days when I first bought my ASUS Zenfone 4 MAX with that former original battery.
