Capitalism and free market can be opposed. Its why they made anti trust law in the 90's.
The goal of capitalism is to concentrate all possesion in few hands, to maximize capital income with situation of monopoly.
Capital income doesnt produce or sell anything in itself. It just make profits on owning properties or capital, like real estate or such.
Its not concerned with competition and rather get monopolies to maximize their profits by owning everything.
