365 Days That Count - Day 166 - Demolition day, oh how I've missed dusty building sites!! 🔨 🍻

We met at the house first thing and in no time the guys were knocking down walls and stripping out carpets!

Some girls might like getting their nails done or going for cocktails but there's really little I like more than being on a building site as it is transformed.

Within hours it was a different place.

Ban and I walked across the road to a very conveniently placed coffee shop and went over the various things to be done whilst she's here.

Plans need to be submitted, materials need to be sourced, salvage yards need to be scoured!! ☺️ I can't bloody wait to get going!

I had a few appointments during the course of the afternoon but couldn't help making a detour back to the house in-between each one to check on the progress.

The demo always goes so fast, if only the rebuilding could happen at quite the same pace, but I suppose where's the fun in building without delays? Actually I take that back....no delays would be great!!! 🙏

I made one last trip past the house to lock up before going home for a well deserved glass of wine!

It was a long but excellent day and it got even better....You know when you chat to someone for hours about everything and nothing and time just flies without you realising it and then suddenly it's nearly midnight, ya well that happened and it was really, really nice!

I went to bed with a smile on my face and excitement in my heart, what more could I possibly ask for!!!!
