I came up with a list of three things that you can start doing today, that won't take a big bite out of your time, but will really make you feel much better and prepared to tacke your tasks, especially if you do them in the morning.
Meditation (5 minutes)
Meditation is great because you get to spend time with yourself, without any distractions, that you normally don't have. It is quite a challenge at first to keep random thoughts out of your head, but the more you do it, the better you will become at controlling your thoughts. And that's just one positive effect of meditation.
You will be able to relax and recharge some of your energy within a few minutes. Meditation will never replace a full good night's sleep, but it's great when you're feeling exhausted and tired, but you still have things to do.
Journalling (7 minutes)
The reason why journalling is on this list is because of how important it is to get your thoughts and feelings out. If you're a shy person or someone that doesn't like opening up to other people, this will truly be a game changer for you. This is especially true when it comes to negative feelings, such as hate, resentment, anger, sadness. Keeping these feelings inside and letting them boil does no one no good.
Whether you keep a bullet journal in which you plan your days as well as write down your thoughts and feelings or if you have a regular journal to only write about your day, this is something you should be doing consistently.
Giving (3 minutes)
Humans are programmed in such a way that we always have desires for something, we always want something, but we are rarely grateful for what we have and we don't give back much to the community we live in or people we love. We're so used to taking that it's practically natural to us, but we don't often give to others as freely.
Whether you give a good and honest advice to your friend and devote your time to them, giving a gift to a loved one or complimenting a stranger, volunteering or donating, you should give back to others as much as possible and as often as possible. Not only will that make them happier and make their day better, it will also make you more satisfied and fulfilled in your life.
Excellent advice. I am trying to do meditation on a daily basis and journalling the books I have read. Giving is something i need to work on :)
Thank you for the simple and powerful message
