Hi Dan, how are you doing!! Long time ago since we spoke, hope all is good? I am stll alive, but not been very active posting last 7/8 months.
Do you think much has changed in the last 7 month on Steemit, I been working on https://cryptoowls.com a crypto ranking website based on benchmarks written on Steemit. Trying to get a community going, but my last posts which I wrote from @cryptoowls have not been succesful apart from getting many bots as friends. Not sure if I can trust them to help me out .

Let me know how life is and if you like the website. Hopefully you have some design tips 😄.

I don’t think much has changed on Steemit. The Steem blockchain on the other hand sure has changed a lot. The reward pool has been spread out more widely to other projects, such as Dtube, Dlive and steemhunters etc. So in order to keep up earnings one has to get involved in those projects as well.

Steemit is not so social as it used to be because now it’s more a one mans game with self upvoting to get further, which leaves the small guys only be able to pick up small crumbs.

I really like your project but it took quite some reading before I understood what the main objective is. Now that I understand it I think it has awesome potential. But the name and outlook of the website needs to be more clear, with a very clear outlook.

I think you should bring in some guys into the project and brainstorm how to make it clear and easy for people to use. Also it would be good if you get some investors (delegaters) . Because money talks hehe

The idea is awesome, Huge potential ! But I thought I would give you my honest feedback because In the end Rome wasn’t built in a day

Thx Dan, some really good advise and indeed some extra funding from investors would be a good idea! Not sure yet how to go about getting the investors, ie I think I need to make it open source first to get it promoted in utopian, is there a different way to get delegators interested.

Indeed naming and explaining how it works is an issue and needs a lot of further thought. I am glad to hear you like the idea! Criticism always good as it allows me to move on improving.

Crypto Owls was initially chosen simply because it was a cheap domain name and I figured I could make it work haha. Little did I know it is really hard to reach the public.

Basically the idea is that all existing investors and new investors share their knowledge and research by posting benchmarks. It also gives an investor an idea on what properties are actually defining a crypto asset and how they compare. Slowly you can grow the data and declare certain data as factual and measurable.
