There was this story of 6years old Lorieta,she was flying alone on a private jet when the flight attendant asked her if she needed to go to the lavatory. She answered no. Asked why she had turned her light on, Lorieta responded,"Because I have to go to the bathroom."

What is communication

Communication is complete only when both parties understands what is being said.

Here are some tips for communicating effectively with with people around:

• Since we all communicate differently,we need to communicate at the level of the recipient. As Peter Drucker put it,"Enable performer to perform their way ,not other way."

• We're wise to come to the table with the goal of solving the problem, not pointing fingers.

• We should practice affirming loudly but correcting quietly. Praise is public, and reprimand is private.

• We should give people around us the benefit of doub, even in situations that seem clear to us . one party simple may have misunderstood the other. Asking questions (being " Ask assertive" rather than "Tell assertive," where you assume you have all the answers) will help you understand the whole picture before you jump to conclusions.
