SKCP SUBULUSSALAM

Keberadaan Air Terjun SKPC dikelilingi perkebunan kelapa sawit dan salak pondoh milik transmigrasi setempat itu terlihat indah meski belum tertata rapi. Air Terjun SKPC Kota Subulussalam ini berada sekitar delapan km dari pusat Kota itu ramai dikunjungi masyarakat setiap hari libur.

Lokasi air terjun SKCP yang berada di kawasan kampung SKPC Kecamatan Penanggalan, tidak begitu jauh dari pusat kota itu bisa dijadikan tempat rekreasi karena alam sekitarnya indah dikelilingi perkebunan kelapa sawit dan salah pondoh milik masyarakat setempat.Subulussalam berada diperbatasan Provinsi Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam (NAD) dengan Provinsi Sumatera Utara (Sumut). Kota ini baru definitif dan terpisah dari Kabupaten induk Aceh Singkil.

Komoditi dominan daerah kelapa sawit, di samping pertanian.Pemerintah Kota (Pemko) Subulussalam kini sedang giat membangun berbagai fasilitas publik, sehingga terlihat indah pusat kota transitâ yang berbatasan dengan Aceh Singkil,Aceh Selatan, Aceh Tenggara dan Provinsi Sumut itu dinilai strategis prospeknya ke depan.Kota ini menjadi alternatif bagi warga masyarakat sejumlah kabupaten lain seperti Aceh Barat Daya (Abdya) dan Nagan Raya, terutama mereka yang bertolak ke Medan. Jadi, kota yang definitif bersama Pidie Jaya tersebut diharapkan cepat berkembang karena sering dilalui warga daerah lain.Oleh karena itu, pembenahan berbagai infrastruktur publik termasuk obyek wisata air terjun perlu mendapat perhatian serius Pemko sebagai upaya memperbesar penerimaan pendapatan asli daerah (PAD) untuk mempercepat program pembangunan.Keindahan obyek wisata air terjun yang dihiasi tanaman kelapa sawit dan salak pondoh itu merupakan anugerah Allah SWT.

Keindahan alam sekitarnya ini hendaknya ditata baik sehingga menjadi daerah tujuan wisata (DTW) bernilai ekonomi bagi Pemko Subulussalam agar masyarakat juga bisa merasakan manfaat.
