        Definitely could have been worse. Another lesson to take away is that even when you are careful there is still risk. I used protection but it still transmits orally. The positive (pun intended) is that HIV is extremely difficult to transmit, even without protection while the curable diseases transmit much easier.

          Btw, and since we are at it, if I remember correctly HIV needs months before it can show up in blood exams... so a fast check after a few sexual encounters is not an accurate measure.
