A Cat On Top Of My Moms Roof 1.22.2022

I went to visit my mom as my sister and her husband came to visit my mom this morning. My sister wanted to celebrate her birthday early and visit.

It was good to see her and her husband. We had a good visit and something to eat and as they drove away, my sister pointed at the roof of the house that my mom lives at. She saw the cat on top of the roof.

I decided to take a picture of the cat on the roof, and thought I might write a blog about it.

My sister's husband wanted to visit in the morning as at 1:30 PM my time does a certain football game start. So that is why they wanted to visit in the morning.

That was good for me as I have an odd job to do today this afternoon as I write. Well, I am just waiting for a text and then I will do my odd job.

So let's get back to the cat on top of the roof.

I looked and it was one of the cats that my mom likes to feed. We call him Tiger. Well, Tiger likes climbing high. I seen him climb high into a tree and today we saw him on top of the roof.

This kind of reminds me of Peanuts, Snoopy the dog that likes to be on the roof of his dog house.

There is another cat that likes to be on the roof, we call her, Molly. Molly seems to like to hang out with Tiger.

Well, I guess the good part of a cats on the roof is that, if rats try to get on the top of the house by way of the telephone lines and also they can walk on the powerlines that lead to the house, to get in the house. I have seen that.

Of course you don't want rats in the house, and if cats will meet the rats as they climb down the power lines or telephone lines to get on the roof, then the cats will have some fresh meat to eat.

Also it is good for the cats to have the high ground to look over the house to see if any pests that the cats like to eat can be spotted.

Let's end with a scripture, as it is written, A righteous regardeth the life of his beast: but the tender mercies of the wicked cruel. Proverbs 12:10.
