I Have A Two Dollar Bill

My mom gave me this two dollar bill. Most people don't use the two dollar bill anymore. Just for the heck of it I looked up a 1995 two dollar bill and it was for sale at six dollars.

Maybe I will keep my two dollar bill. I keep it in my wallet just in case I need some emergency money. I also keep a one dollar US coin. It is not a silver dollar. The dollar coin looks a little bigger then a quarter.

If they are going to have a dollar coin, they should at least have it the size of a silver dollar with no silver in it.

Remember when the real coins had gold, silver and copper. Even the current US penny now just has a copper plate over zinc. There are pennies with real 90% copper in it, but those where coined in part of 1982 and earlier.

I do like to collect pennies that have 90% copper. Well, at least those coins are real money.

Do you remember in the Bible where the money failed? As it is written, And when money failed in the land of Egypt, and in the land of Canaan, all the Egyptians came unto Joseph, and said, Give us bread: for why should we die in thy presence? for the money faileth. Genesis 47:15.

They didn't say why the money failed, but I have a good idea what happened. You see at that time people had to buy corn from Egypt during a 7 year drought.

Well, I can imagine people mixing metals with less and less silver and gold and replacing it with other metals. Kind of like what they are doing today. Yes in our modern times they have been taking out the gold and silver and copper and replacing them with other metals.

Not only that we are printing more and more paper money. It is even worse than that as people are using plastic money. The credit card debt of the nations is a scary thing. You see some people are buying their food and gas and paying rent with the plastic credit card.

I used to be that way too, buying food and gas with the credit card, but that is no way to live as that kind of life is very unsustainable. I even talked to a coworker from my old job at the telephone company that told me he would borrow from one plastic credit card to pay another plastic credit card.

That sounds like an economic time bomb just ready to explode.

With me, it was in my backsliding days where I just wanted to go to clubs and meet girls. To go to clubs and meet girls I would used credit cards for food and gas so I could have cash for the clubs. Well, I should have just stayed home. Well after awhile, I learned my lesson and stayed home and started to pay off my debts.

I finally got my plastic credit cards under control, but it took years to pay off. Some of my friends never did pay it off. They went into bankruptcy. They even tried to get me to file for bankruptcy, but I didn't want to go that route.

To me it seemed wrong to not pay my bills. I did have to call up my credit card companies to see if they would lower the monthly payments. I told them I didn't want to file for bankruptcy and that I plan to pay them back, but that I needed them to lower the monthly payments to give me a break.

Well, they did lower the monthly payments, but they took my credit away. That was good that they did that. I didn't need to get deeper into a credit card debt mess anyway.

One thing that help me understand money a little more was watching Suzy Orman. She mentioned different ways to save money. Well, that was a good start.

Well, here I am. I still use credit cards as I do order things online, but before I order something I have the money so that when the bill comes I have a way to pay it right away.

So let's get back to the picture of the two dollar bill. It is good to know that someone out there is selling a 1995 two dollar bill for six dollars. It makes me want to keep my two dollar bill.

Very good! And all started with the rothschild dynasty. Before the FED every dollar note was backupped with silver. Trace the money path.
