Skunk Cleaning Up What The Cats Didn't EatsteemCreated with Sketch.

As I visited my mom I captured this video of a small skunk cleaning up what the cats didn't eat. Notice the tail is up and is very fluffy looking. This skunk lives under moms house.

I also have at least two skunks living under my own house. Plus I have an army of little skunks living in a burrow under my shed.

One thing I like about skunks is that they eat termites. It is better to work with nature than against nature. So I keep the skunks and let go of the termite people.

The other thing about skunks I like is that they eat mice and rats. With all the neighborhood cats that like to hang out in my backyard, plus my own cat, plus skunks that live near me I don't see too many rats where I used to see a lot of rats here and there.

After visiting my mom I came home and the boys next door wanted me to join them as they were drinking. I said hello to them and shook hands.

Then I told them I had to go and write something. One ask me what I was going to write about. I told them I was going to write about skunks since I took a video of a skunk today.

They started laughing and I told them I do have two skunks living under my house and more living under my shed in a burrow.

I told them that there are people that want to take away the skunks, but they have to be paid $450 for each skunk that they catch. That is a lot of money so I told them I will keep the skunks cause of all the good that they do.

For me the benefits would be that the skunks eat the termites, mice and rats.
