If you saw Hacksaw Ridge, the movie you know who Desmond Doss is. He saved over 50 wounded during the battle on the Ridge at Okinawa.

Here is an old TV show "This is your life" in 1959 that reviews his life.

Also the commercials are a must watch!

This is such an interesting story I have reposted at different time of day to see what happens with the views. Previous post only had one view!
