I am a mother of 3 beautiful boys ages 12, 7 and 4. I love them sooooo much. I call them my Ducky (12), Lovely(7) and Baby (4). Baby hates it when I call him baby but I love it when he cringes his nose and say "I'm not a baby". My hubby is a stay at dad and the boys see him as the best video game buddy ever!!!
During the day, I am a professional accountant. I use to work fairly long hours. I try not to go in on the weekends. It didn't work. My relationship with the boys were not so good because they never saw me and when they did I was thinking about some issue at work. So, I recently just quit that demanding job and started a new job that is supposed to give me work life balance.
I would not go as far as saying I have balance, but I do have a bit more time. I go into work at 6 am but I am at home at 6:30 pm. Now, going home usually means I start my second and third job. I would be Queen when I walk in the door. After 5 minutes of welcome home and I love yoose, I immediately become the maid. Cooking, cleaning and nagging. Even though I am exhausted, I love my second job and content with my third! After dinner I spend about an hour just hanging out with my boys. I have breakfast with them on the weekends. Now with the warm weather, we get to have water gun fights and relax on the deck.
Rather than take out dinners now, the boys get a nice home cook meals. Some of you may say why would your hubby not cook or clean. I don't need haters of my hubby. He is a wonderful dad. He is also the only son born into an Asian family. Simply he never had to cook and he is really bad at it when he tries. Take out was always the preferred option.
It seems no matter how much I work or manage our money, we always seem to be in the red. Credit card debt seems to keep going up. But rent , life and food is expensive and boys eat a lot.
I want to upload some of their baby pics when I figure it out.
I have been surfing the net being envious of you tubers who took the time and see how fast some their subscribers grew. We are renting and was trying to save up for a house. But I live in Toronto and the house price has gone up like crazy. It has become unaffordable an unrealistic dream to own a house. Even the place we re renting went up 500,000 in 3 years. We are close to maybe being kicked out as the landlord is thinking of selling. I keep feeling that for every step forward we seem to always have to take 2 steps back.
This is such an drab feeling. I was not depressed but felt really weighed down.
But then my sisters reached out to me and told me how they got into cryptocurrency. They showed me mining and cryptocurrency trading. Now, with my old job, I would never have the time. But I have some time now between 10 pm and midnight after the boys sleep to look into and research this "trend". Through all that, I found you tubes and blogs about steem. I thought I actually write stuff. My life is not so boring. I just need to make enough to pay off $50,000 of high interest credit card debt, stay a bit anonymous so my boss does not find so I can keep my day job and be able to take my kids on vacation that is not a "staycation". For myself, I also want to go to Disney World. I want to see the look on the boys face when they see the Lion King and when they jump on the hotel beds.
Now with mining zcash and getting $4USD a day , small cryptocurrency investment and steem, I hope to finally get ahead!
Perfectly!

I feel your pain. We rent in Vancouver, and got kicked out of our place last summer because the landlord sold. Housing insecurity really starts to weigh on the soul after a while.

I agree. But at least there is opportunity and hope. Nothing is guaranteed except if I don't try. If I don't try, it is guaranteed I don't make any money.
