Do you ever feel like you don't succeed at anything because you spend too much time procrastinating?

Have you heard of the 5 second rule?

Created by Mel Robbins, who is a motivational speaker, it suggest that if you don't knuckle down to something within 5 seconds of thinking about it, you will never do it at all.

Does that apply to YOU?

Mel Robbins believes motivation is not useful!

She believes that motivation can make you lack enthusiasm to start something, so, somehow, unmotivated.

This seems contradictory to me!

In Mel Robbins view, we must do things instantly rather than 'when we feel like it, or we'll never achieve our goals.

Bunkem!!

I found the way forward is to plan your time. The plan needs to be *flexible and adaptable to any changes to your agenda that crop up unexpectedly.

Don't beat yourself up if time doesn't allow you to complete everything you planned. You can do some more tomorrow!

Give yourself a break and ignore the 5 second rule!!
