Fried rice seafood, served in ananas... The Tamarind market is a really quiet one. Of course quiet for Thai standards. The prices are a bit higher than at the regular night markets, but for that you get to listen to live music and drink an ice cold draft Chang while enjoying your meal. Right next to the Tamarind market there is a more traditional one. For example, a fresh coconut at the Tamarind is 50 Bath, just 30m away at the traditional one it's 35 Bath. This applies to almost everything you can find. It's up to you. Pay a bit more and get a westerner, or less and get the more authentic Thai market experience.
