It is a true what they say that those who live in glass houses should never throw stones. A couple of things are bound to happen.
- You could have a retaliation of the order equal to or greater than the magnitude of what you did.
- You actions may even unknowingly land at the doorsteps of an ally.

Sometime ago, a very stubborn man was caught up in a terrible traffic. Another driver had been quite senseless in his driving and caused a slight accident. It was a common thing for the sound of sirens to emanate from just nowhere, most times in the name of the law or emergency services just to escape the chaos. In an attempt to clear the way for the vehicle sounding the siren, this man just simply refused to give way because he felt that would amount to being cheated and that everyone needed to wait their turn as the traffic was being eased out gradually. He argued that such acts needed to stop particularly when the privileges were being abused. In fact, from the way he argued his case, he sounded like someone who could argue with the dead or wouldn't allow even a two year old kid get the better of him. It took a better part of 10 minutes to get his vehicle out of the way for the siren to make its way through and move on.

His stupidity cost him dearly when he found out that his only son was in the ambulance that was racing to the hospital which he obstructed. A few seconds might have made a difference but he chose to waste it on arguing senselessly and standing on his rights. A times we need to learn to lose, in order to really be able to claim victory. In such lies wisdom. Let's also be careful of throwing pebbles into the crowd. By some strange luck, a times, life just has a way of finding a relative or friend in that crowd on whom the pebble will land. It is good practice to always give careful thought to every action or inaction. In the long run, you will find out that you were actually doing yourself a favor.
Makes you think. Enjoyed that :)
