Coin tribalism has continually taken crypto by storm.
So many people are scurrying behind their favorite cryptos and becoming a part of the XRP tribe or the ARK tribe or the ETH tribe or the BTC tribe or the STEEM tribe.
Tribes are a part of our nature as humans. We like to feel that we are a part of something larger than ourselves.
We like to believe in something that is bigger than the individual and that works as a collective.
I don't see this as an inherently negative thing.. In fact, I think it's a positive.
It means that people will be connected by the tribe they join. They will feel a sense of pride and they will be more willing to show it off to their friends, trying to get them to join their tribe as well.
They will also be more willing to put in hard work to make their tribe successful.
Of course, this has its downsides.. As most things often do.
Some people have become territorial over their tribal coins and they will viciously attack people who talk negatively about their coin.
We'll just have to take the negatives with the positives!
This all started with Bitcoin, but many people have jumped to other coins and now enjoy the tribes they have joined in doing so.
I loved this question... Why would someone be as passionate about STEEM as someone else is passionate about BTC or any other crypto.
I'd love to hear your answer, leave a comment down below with it!
