I dont think replacing them would be a good idea even if they could be. My opinion is that the two together would complement each other and serve students very well as a pair.

Well said, keeping the two together is a good idea and it is being adopted in most parts of the globe too. This idea has also proved very helpful in fulfilling the flaws of the other.
