Hello, hope you are all well. I have some cute pictures of farm animals that I wanted to share.
What I learnt about tortoises...
This tortoise is over 80 years old. He is very slow at moving because he is bigger, his shell is heavier therefore takes time to travel to one location to another.
You can see the size compared to the rock next to it. I think they are such peaceful creatures.
Tortoises have inspired the military for their hard shell.
They cant swim like turtles but can hold their breathe for long periods of time.
Tortoises are endangered species, we must protect them.
Here are some billygoats, couldnt get a front shot, so excuse the back shots lol.. but they are so cute.
Some info on billygoats..
Goats like to stay in herds to keep active, they become sad if they are on their own.
They love climbing rocky, hilly areas, they just love a challenge.
I was also told that goats have 4 stomachs, dont know why, I didnt ask.

Wow, super amazing post. I once had a turtle but sadly it died. I love turtles too. I hope men will take good care of this endangered species so that the next generation may still see them in real life.

I really do remember when we were children it was such a thrill to have a tortoise as a pet ,now with them being protected (rare ) it is a shame that is not the case anymore .It was a big thing to learn about the hibernation part .Knowing about different life habits of other creatures .looking out for your next parts in the animal farm series .

I totally agree. I think its good we learn and visit them. I think all animals should be protected. A family vacated a home and left their dogs behind. They were found by the new tenants. They were in a bad state, I think people should be prosecuted for this, but it doesnt happen. Thank you for your post.

It is brilliant . that there are people like yourself about to help animals in need .When we start to earn a good bit more from steemit we are planning on moving to our own bigger place & hoping to do a similar thing to yourself .Our daughter would like a pet or several pets she would love .

That tortoise is really cool. Love tortoises and turtles. They are pretty chilled out creatures and very relaxing to observe.

Yes they are really calm, I guess they do have a calming effect, I mean you cant argue with a tortoise, in the end youd have to be quiet. Lol.. thats why they say being quiet is better than ranting.

I love animals generally because they have a role to play in our lives and we have to respect those role they play. I wish they can talk alone for I will love it more. I love your photos.
