To have healthy and fulfilling relationships, assertiveness is a quality that is essential in interpersonal interactions. If you don't learn how to be assertive, you can find yourself engaging in acts that are considered passive aggressive. Although assertive communication may not always be successful, it can be of assistance in the development of healthier relationships and higher levels of self-esteem.
