2017 World Cattle Inventory

in life •  6 years ago

I thought this was interesting. Mainly I was surprised that slightly over 50% of all cattle was in India (30.39%) and Brazil (22.64%). I came across this chart while researching agriculture investment. As incomes increase across the world so does beef consumption but also the use of grain as the cattle requires food to eat. I'm hoping that one day I can grow a grass fed only herd.
