Hey guys and gals, I’ve been a student of life and love to learn new things. I've studied film, acting (film and theatre), Natural Medicines, Psychology, Business and Photography. I’ve read over 2,000 different books and consume at least 50 new books a year. I also owned and operated a Consultancy Firm for about 3 years and was a professor for Personal Development for one of the leading schools in the field called John Robert Powers. Aside from working with over 3 fortune 500 companies, I’ve also owned and operated over 4 businesses. Along with that, I've travelled all over Europe, South America and Asia doing non-profit work for Orphanages and shelters. I also speak from time to time to Youth Groups and Churches.
I believe that success is not our final destination. I don’t believe in failure, I believe in learning from mistakes. I believe that it’s okay to be obsessed. It’s evidence of passion in your life.

Agreed man! Anytime I make a mistake I find it only causes more damage to try and delay owning up to it. If I reply to someone with a stressed out emotional response and say something I don't mean, I generally realize it quickly and feel pretty stupid, but I feel instantly better when I go up to the person I was talking to and apologize for the way I responded and give them the response they should have received in the first place! Good topic VR.

Ownership in all aspects of life is key. Great video! I like the part when you are understanding of their opinions, yet "they are wrong." lol I agree, Kobe is a close 2nd.

That is a very powerful idea, and I have found much of what you said to be true in my own life. Taking ownership of my actions is always harder than ignoring a situation. It's very easy to continue thinking I was right and to blame something or someone else for their obvious 51%+ contribution to the issue. But that's a flawed accounting system.
You said there is no shame in admitting that we're wrong, it's a courageous act. It's also pretty realistic. If I'm going through life thinking that I'm right about everything, that sort of assumes perfection. Do I really think that I'm that good? If my actions are not perfect, then mistakes happen. In fact, they should be expected. Possibly that's one of the ways that the great ones become great, by being attuned to mistakes constantly.
There are degrees of error. I undoubtedly make major mistakes often, but the more I look for them, the easier it is to find the little ones. The small things that can become big problems. Fine tuning that mechanism, so that I'm owning smaller things, is one of my goals. Doing this can make the big ones more obvious and easier to avoid, and if you're working on the subtle, small problems, that's a good place to be.
