Seems like you had decent weather. I live in Michigan, US and I have no idea how the homeless survive here. Shelters are limited and we often dip to negative 10-20 degrees Farenheit. Most of the homeless here have mental health issues. Our mental health system in the US is a disaster.
Kudos to you for bringing awareness to this often ignored issue.

I agree, the winters must be tough. We did it in summer and the nights were cold enough. Also, we didn't experience any prolonged rain.
