Fragile Life

in life •  7 years ago

Yesterday my brother's wife passed away. Death happens everyday so on a global scale, this is not surprising. Most of us live in a much smaller community. The people we know and those we care about matter personally. a1drjohnthumb.JPG

Kathy's passing was unexpected. She evidently suffered a fatal stroke and was found by her daughter (my niece). The funeral will be tomorrow.

I am sad for those who must process the remnants of her life. Such work is difficult.

This event caused me to think about my personal situation: specifically about those who will process my things. Crypto holdings are rather new. Not many people are familiar with them.

I have spent a good deal of time and energy accumulating my small stash. I would hate to think it would be lost to ignorance. Therefore I must take the time to write some instructions describing locations and access instructions.

Kathy was not expecting to die yesterday. You may not expect to die today. The point is... be prepared.

Here is today's beauty.

My condolences and RIP

I'm sorry your family had another loss and so sudden. I wish you strength.
You are wise to take the time to write instructions for your sons.
We never know when our time comes and it's good to be prepared, it gives peace.

I am sorry for you and your family. You can never get used to it, especially if it is sudden. It is a common occurrence that eventually happens to all of us and yet we aren't really equipped to handle it. Much empathy.

Sorry for your family loss.

Rest In Pace your brother's wife Sir.

This is going to become more and more relevant as we move on as so few people are prepared for 'unforeseen circumstances' with their holdings.

sorry for your brother 's wife :)

Please accept my sincere condolences. Regarding readiness, you are absolutely right. Good luck to you and good.
