Rodents

in life •  7 years ago

My dog and I have been noticing a few new critters who are robbing my birds of the food I leave for them. I have been tolerant of their felonious behavior, but when a rat popped from the cracks of my railroad tie retaining wall I began an action plan. I don’t like rats! a1drjohnthumb.JPG

I have used live traps in the past. They leave the decision of killing to your future. What options do you have?

Anyway, I ordered a battery powered electrocution system. It hopefully will dispatch my rats and squirrels to rodent heaven.

I have become emotionally soft. I actually have compassion for rodents. This is impractical.

I considered poison, but have had poor results previously. We will try this and see how it goes.

I am sorry!

Here is today’s beauty.

Had rats in an outbuilding used poison and they were gone in a few days. Had bodies turning up for a week or so but it worked.

rats are bad.. squirrels can be a pest as well although much cuter..

what kind of birds feed at your place?

songbirds... sparrows, cardinals, bluejays, and once in a while I see a woodpecker.

This means you have the power of life and death 💀 in your hand 😂👍💪🏽 @doctorjohn

Hmmmmm that shows how amazing you are.

I don't like rat either, hahahaha. That electrocution system though. You really mean business

I don't like those either, and I detest even roaches too. You gotta do what you gotta do.

I detest rats too. They spoil things and don't care

Some big rat ate my brother hen at farm which discouraged us of planning to start poultry. Who knows if they will come again

great post of life no doubt
