Life keys: Giving back

Have you done any good in the world today? If not has your day really been worth it?

There are those around us that need our help, there are many of them out there. They could need our attention our support and encouragement, even our kindness and compassion. How often do we reach out? How often is our hearts touched by the need of another person?

How often do we intend to help another person, but let day to day things get in the way or be our excuse to help out those in need. We should not get caught up being to busy to help those that are desperately reaching out for our help.

If we step back a bit and really look, with an open heart, at what we are doing we are then able to see how important it is to help those around us. It is not hard to help out, money is not the only thing people need.

Some really need a friend even just saying hi with a smile can be the difference between a premature death and a happy meaningful life. Giving advice can be a great way of helping someone, share your experiences and stories.

Do we beat someone down, or try to build them up? Just by showing constant support and encouragement we can help someone to reach higher do better. If we all could be our best, what would the world be like?

Simple acts of help and kindness can change someones life and create that ripple effect that could bring greater change to millions of lives. The world would be a better place if we weren't negatively competing against one another, but rather pushing each other to do their very best.

Where are you the happiest? Is it when you have helped someone and see that smile on their face? Is it when they say thank you or not say thank you? When you are the happiest it is usually when you have been helping others, when your day has been worth it.
