Random Thought -- "The Whale Wars" coming to a blog near you .... Yesterday some guy threatened me with down votes for using a bot because he did not like the owner. How do you feel about other people being able to "down vote" your earnings and not just your content on steemit? On a personal level it is why I have not bought a large chunk of steem.
I am doing daily giveaways.
To enter leave a brief comment with why you should get picked or what your plans for the money are and I will select 2 posts for a full up vote. (usually the same day)
My vote is currently worth .60 (ish)
I plan on raising my vote value over time.

Hey Mr. @dreamryder007 I'm back this morning with a cup of coffee in my hands, as I commented a few days before, who perseveres wins. I dont like these users in steemit just to damage the good work of others, feel good with you because you are doing a great job.
Steemit is so damn good it makes people feel more confident.. First time i upload a dancing video just to try to win some SBD

Poeh, today's random thought is quite heavy. I actually think there are quite some things on Steemit that could be improved. And I'm not really a fan of paid upvote bots. As they take away a lot of upvotes, which can't be used for upvoting quality content. Also there seems to be a rat race where the bot owners think that the users, like you, should not make large profits when buying upvotes. I don't understand the reason behind that. I mean are the bot owners allows to make a nice or even high profit, while the buyers are not allowed? Yes this is a rhetorical question. You should be able to make profit by using these bots.
Down voting because he doesn't like the bot owner is really sad. You are no party in his fight. But in the end you are the one that loses. 😥

Bots are tricky, I wish they were not part of platform... But it’s up to the users to decide what they do with this platform, I use them too...
If I win one of the daily upvotes, it will go into growing kn this platform. My aim is to share my art here, and to hopefully eventually be able to create some extra income (which is tricky for artists)

First off I would like to say thank you for trying to support the little guys in this space like myself. I believe bots are good and bad thing. Why they are good is because it can really help get the new users like me started to generate a following. Bad because this space is really manipulated and some of the really good content gets pushed down because someone is able to spend more on bots. I don't believe there is happy medium.

I think there are some whales who are very polite with their power, and others use it and involve themselves in taking down a whale who is abusing their power. With these situations it's hard to determine who is the good guy and who is the bad one.

Being threatened to get downvote by the whales or bot whales is really crazy. The Whale Wars is really scary. I already tasted a downvoted by 13 people in just one of my comment exposing them for downvoting one dolphin who is trying to give a contest. I don't know for a reason, maybe they have an envy against him.
Anyway, my plan for the money or reward is to use it for my next contest. My last contest is (MAKE A CAPTION OF THIS) and I'm planning to raised my reward so that I can be a minnow helper even though I'm still a minnow.
My reward last time is just 1SBD divided by 3 persons, and I need to have at least 3 SBD so I can give them 1SBD each winner.

I think this downvoting of a thing need to be reviewed, people have been abusing it.
Their some new users that do not know do and don't of steemit just yet, instead of the already established ones to guide them on how to go about it, they flag and downvote them in return. Sorry about that, stay true to your dream, I know you would be vindicated.

Sadly it's by far the most ridiculous part of our platform. You are in a decentralized ecosystem until someone bigger than you doesn't like something about you. At times it kind of reminds me of that Star Wars restaurant scene with some of these characters we have around here.

I think something must be done about people abusing downvoting and flagging on steemit, a lot of people are doing it for hatred. Their supposed to be a board in charge of this two acts on steemit,so as to limit it abuse. ....
If I am considered for the upvote, I want to use it to support my random acts of kindness initiative.
Random acts of kindness is an initiative I started in December to support the less privileged people, I have been using 50% of my earning and 100% donations to support this project. I started out with my old account (@emmakwisequote) ,I lost password into that account sometimes in February, my initiative suffered a set back as a result, I have a lot of people I need to support already, but not enough power to do so. Having your upvote would go a long way in putting smile on someone's face.

I am really glad that " The Whale Wars" is a very exclusive party and does not affect the minnows. Shows a lot as well...home we have a word: Give somebody power and you will see what kind of person it is!
It's hard to say how i will react if i will get involved but for sure like any other minnow i will freack out!
