Last night, against all expectations, the Tooth Fairy didn't come to our house. We're not sure why. Maybe it was a big night with loads of kids losing their teeth yesterday. Maybe it was because Ms 9 was hosting a sleepover last night.
Or maybe it had something to do with the events of yesterday - see https://steemit.com/life/@drwom/kids-help-line-australia if you want some more (if deliberately vague) information on that subject. And after yesterday's events, it was a sad Ms 9 who emerged yesterday to tell us that the Tooth Fairy hadn't come.
But whatever the reason, I have just snuck into my daughters room tonight, and can confirm the Tooth Fairy has indeed come tonight (maybe while I was meditating?). And she has left a little something in addition to the coin - as pictured. I don't know quite what it is, but it seems to be a crystal of some type. The Tooth Fairy must be very sorry to have missed Ms 9 out.
I wonder what the crystal will do? At the very least, I hope Ms 9 is happy, and will forgive the Tooth Fairy's error.
