Didi Taihuttu, a 39-year-old Dutchman, played all-in on virtual coins. He sold the house, the company inherited from his father and everyone (but all) his belongings, from the car to the toys of his daughters, to invest in bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies. Now he lives with his family in a camper van, they travel and lead a minimalist life, in the belief that in "maximum 5 years" the blockchain technology at the base of bitcoins will have revolutionized everything: payments, industry, finance. "The cryptocurrencies will be indispensable and will be worth a great deal", he assures. A life, as he defines it, as a "digital nomad". What if it goes wrong? "It does not matter, we've had a good adventure and my daughters will have learned that money is not the important thing."
