Celebrate success instead of envying it

Once upon a time, there lived a band of jolly friends, everything seemed fine at first, everyone seemingly more cheerful than the other. Love was thrown into the mix, shook a few, created some boundaries but everything seemed fine nonetheless.

Then one day, the unexpected happened, the friends found fame and money. Some of course more than the others and that was where the problems began.
At first, it started as a minor whisper, the ones not so fortunate as the fortunate one(s) felt cheated, looking for justifiable reasons to vent their frustration, they started faulting every single action taken by such individual.

If you are reading this, welcome to the reality of life. The nature of man is revealed when money is involved, for the sake of money and power so many have killed their fellow man.
I once heard of a case of a gubernatorial aspirant who was the people's favorite to win the elections, he was murdered by the opposition years ago and the replacement simply used his ideas on the state.

I once told @destinysaid that: "when you come into success, people will surely talk the bitter talk, even friends, don't stop what you are doing because that is when those people truly win."
When you have an idea, haters won't care enough to see the good in your plan, all they see is the flaw in you. That alone limits and blinds them to the truth of life.

On this platform, I have come to realize that some of the big names we see don't have time for petty things like envy. A friend of mine once said "you do not tell your fellow man everywhere you eat from." As much as I agree to that, I also disagree. The fear of envy has caused so many men to fall because they were so scared of being talked about, they never allowed themselves to shine.

One funny truth worthy of note is that people who usually envy others are very bitter on the inside. So bitter that they become paranoid.

Manners maketh man

That quote became famous probably through the movie Kingsman, however the original author is believed to be William Horman. The way you think greatly determines how your life will be like to others. A bitter person on the inside will always radiate bitterness at crucial periods when his/her aura is supposed to radiate happiness.
When you envy the success of others, you open yourself to become a potential target to envy which is why you become naturally suspicious.

Among the few people I respect with a calm attitude towards everything, I believe @teamsteem, @donkeypong, @ausbitbank, @timcliff and so many others stand out. My interaction with them although not in so many words have revealed to me the essence of celebrating success, I have realized that celebrating success also makes you a success.

Having envy in one's heart is like short circuiting your potentials. You think you are on the right path only to relize that you climbed halfway and destroyed the bridge between up and down.
I go by the rule of celebrating others deserving of celebration, so that one day, I will be celebrated. Negativity towards our fellow man is never the way, love, peace, respect and the ability to celebrate a success story when we see one is what's important.

Yes you are right ,negativity towards our fellow man is never the way . It only spread wrong message to our fellow man .
Keep spreading good messages like this one !

Thank you, I will continue to spread good messages.

A great reminder to celebrate the success of those around us!

Exactly, been a long time you visited my blog, glad to have you over

So much information, more than there is time to process, much less stop to comment on all of it. This is a valuable post, however, and I couldn't pass it by. It's nice to see people grow, but little bits of envy can creep in. The best for everyone is to see us all grow! We need all of our new recruits becoming engaged as we are. :) Thanks for writing.

As NAS said, "When you are on top there's envy." Truth be told, I never pay much attention to either envious elements or haters. Like I once told @ogoowinner, I'm usually too busy to notice :)
I focus on a lot of things to even remember to check whether to envy or those envying. That way you may live to be a 100, or feel like it!

Hehehehe :)

✌️

I'm usually too busy to notice :)

More precisely, I'm usually too happy to care

Having envy in one's heart is like short circuiting your potentials. Truer words were never spoken. Inspiring writeup boss

Well said, thanks for stopping by

My pleasure boss 🙏

Well said boss. I think I support most of the point you made. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you too

You have said it all @ ehiboss, The nature of man is revealed when money is involved, we should not allow success or money to get into our head when it comes, and to those that still looking forward for fortune to smile on them should not envy those with it who knows maybe be they are the one God will use to make their own comes. Nice one up there. Thanks

Thanks for reading

Rather than hating on others, celebrate them so that you can attract same blessing.

Life is simply; its just a four letter word.
Only we humans make it complicated.

Thanks boss. Your words have become my daily dose.

Your words have become my daily dose.

Overdose is allowed...lol

Kikikikiki 😁

The word celebrating success is also a success is profound for me. The saying goes that what you make happen for others God will make happen for you is often times my watchword.

To this I say I celebrate you @ehiboss

I celebrate you too @abeem90

Excelente amigo, la naturaleza humana es así, pero debemos luchar en contra de ella, para ser personas honestas y dignas de confianza.

Every single paragraph spoke hard truths, successful or not people will always talk, so why stop attempting because of what people will say. Even Jesus was talked about.
Another point to note is rejoicing in the joy of others, cos its only then that we find our own joy. Its an amazing day booster. More ink to your pen.

Thank you

" Envying the success of others, you open yourself to become a potential target to envy."
True talk!

Abi

You're right the nature if man is really conveyed by greed at times it takes a few amount of money to really show the dark people of people

when you come into success, people will surely talk the bitter talk, even friends, don't stop what you are doing because that is when those people truly win."

I love your quote. To me is wisdom talking @ehiboss. As far as human being is concerned people must talk either which way. And what ever they say is just their own personal opinion it doesn't apply. I see it as a complimentary talk. There's no excuse, no shame, no limitations to what one can do. I do what I know how to do best. Thanks for sharing you made my day @ehiboss 👏👏👏👍

Thanks for reading, glad I made your day.

All well said sir. Better to rejoice who have reasons for joy than to envy them. My people believe that if you keep getting unhappy about a hole caused by erosion, the hole keep getting wider by the day. As any envy the successful, the successful keep getting more success. Better to ask for the way of my own success than envy others. Thanks so much for sharing

Thanks for stopping by

Well said @ehiboss. As my people will say;

If you want to know a real man, bless him with riches.

It takes only grace to overcome the effect of riches.

It takes only grace to overcome the effect of riches.

lol, like buying a Ferrari ...just kidding

Lol yea, like buying a ferrari and then intentionally using it to pour dirty water by the road side on a pedestrian.

Impecable tu post, también podemos decir que la envidia es la mayor muestra de admiración por otra persona, los envidiosos no avanzan y son mediocres

Well-said Boss. We need everyone around to lift ourselves up. Success breeds success.

Indeed it does.

,,I go by the rule of celebrating others deserving of celebration, so that one day, I will be celebrated''.
A couple of days ago I saw interview with some psychology expert in tv and noticed one interesting thing he said: ,,your subconcious doesn't know the difference between you and other people. If you are giving something to somebody, it thinks you just received that gift''. I'm still not sure if this is entirely true, but I think that guy may be onto something - after all, if you are envious of somebody, you are not only confirming his success, but also your failure (you want something that he has and you lack). So if you honestly celebrate somebody's success...maybe you don't have to wait for your celebration? Maybe it happens in exactly same moment?
That way of thinking may be useful to some individuals, I believe.

your subconcious doesn't know the difference between you and other people. If you are giving something to somebody, it thinks you just received that gift''.

Those words are powerful, I will ponder on it.

If you celebrate people then be sure to be celebrated someday that is just the simple truth but if one's heart is full of envy then such person will be stagnant While the people you envy will keep succeeding the more. As for me I like associating myself with successful people so that I can tap from their knowledge/experience and be successful too someday.

I have realized that celebrating success also makes you a success.

These words are more than enough to stop any man from envy

Good morning

Indeed they are

Great post boss, i totally agree with all your points, when you are happy for other peoples success you have a higher chance of archiving yours

This is very true. I have found myself in that place in recent times. I want to share my steemit story with the people around me but my folks are saying keep it to yourself. You know these people do not want to see you progress. It is stifling as I believe that knowledge shared is the best way to save people from penury. I still go to my friends and tell them about steemit but the paranoia around me is weird.
People want to believe the worst about you. So when you tell them that it was steemit that bought you a phone, they look at you like right, we know better. It is tiresome joor.
I believe that beautiful stories should be shared. Thank you for this piece.

You're welcome

lol, you have a point.

True talk, " The nature of man is revealed when money is involved". My people use to say that, success attracts envy". And there is nothing you will do to please every human being. The only thing to do is to keep on moving on the righteous side.

True

God bless you for this post sir, I really learnt a lot, more grace

Amen, thanks

My mum always told that celebrating others opens way to better experiences... If you so eager to amass the height that someone has attained, working towards your success will do just great, rather than get sullen in envy. sadly, envy is one negative attribute of man, many cannot control.

Your mum is wise

Well said. One who truly is a winner is one who celebrates his neighbor's every little success. What we celebrate often has a way to locate us. Celebrating people makes us happy and happiness is something that radiates and further gives room for more happiness.
Great post!

well said, thanks.

That's great and also motivated for us

Thank you

Nice 👍

this really nice content...this the best way

People tend to want to pull others down to their level instead of striving to climb to up to meet them.... Someone else's success should motivate to do better and not lead you to disdane and bitterness

@ehiboss
Really love this your quote " When you envy the success of others, you open yourself to become a potential target to envy.."
This is really a life guiding principle, that is really helpful.
Thanks

The lesson I have learnt in life so far : What you can't celebrate you can't attract. Nature responds obediently to our state of mind.

@ehiboss your title really worth it..
