THE PROBLEM
A lot of complaints have been filtering round the steemit community about the discrepancies in the earning mechanism on steemit. This in turn has led to the exit of steemians with great potentials due to frustration and it is affecting the steemit community population.
First off, earning on steemit requires patience as this post is not meant for any one who feels lazy towards working hard.
A group of individuals including myself have come up with a fix to help new members as well as those with good, quality contents but are going unrecognized.
I believe steemit is a community of love and steemians will be genuinely saddened by the loss or inactivity of any member
THE MOTIVE
- The principle behind this idea is to help in any little way we can to prevent the constant draining of the reward pool.
- To exponentially boost the population of steemit,
- To sustain an increased level of activity on steemit.
- To spot, assist and promote talents.
- To help increase the value of steem, steem power, and SBD in any way we can by promoting things that develops the community

We created a group on facebook for those who are ranked 61 and above....if you are a lover of steem, steemit and wish to see it boom, please click this link WE ARE STEEMIT
We are tackling how to help get more members, how to target quality posts and authors, promote good content, assist new members and work for the betterment of steemit.

This seems interesting, but why is the group only for people 61 and above (you are at 54)? And how does it help with the curation process? What does the group do?

To promote good authors...The idea is not mega cash but a sustainable income for as many as possible. As for my rank, never mind it goes beyond me. I want people to help others but have discretion while doing so. Thank you

I like this idea, but I'm also curious about how it will work. My understanding is that reputation score is based on dollars earned. Is that right? If so, it would be nice to find a way to support talented new people who are struggling to gain traction. I'm not sure how you would objectively select participants in that case, though.
I think helping anyone on this site to do better and make the site better is a great idea. Best of luck with it and thanks for taking initiative to try something new. If I reach 61, I'll certainly check it out.

Reputation is increasing when Steemians with a HIGHER Reputation than yourself vote your posts - has nothing to do with Earnings etc - earnings are related to the Steempower of the people voting for you (no amtter what repuation they have) - a lot high power owners (Whales) have much less Repuation as you might think.

I'm very positive and optimistic by nature [especially after a NDE -Near Death Experience-years ago]. Most people who experience NDE's "return" more patient especially as consciousness expands.
