When you have no other choice but to push past your limit

I believe if not all, most are familiar with the popular saying: The sky is your limit, but what if I told you that before you know your sky, you have to first of all know your limit.

To know your limit, you have to attempt various levels of difficulty in life, when we do so, we discover that instead of the sky being our limit, it becomes our starting point.

Is there anything as a limit when we want to progress

The greatest lie we tell ourselves is "we cannot" do something because we believe it is past our limits. Do you know that the greatest people who ever lived also had doubts, but do you know why they became great? They simply decided to brave the odds and attempt the impossible.

The struggle might take time but when we master the art of surmounting disadvantages, we then ask ourselves if the sky is truly the limit or the starting point catapult?
Human beings are easily disadvantaged by so many limitations among which is the mentality that the sky is the limit, thereby creating something somewhat of a fixed point to individual success.

When I was a teenager, I decided I was going to become an entrepreneur, I did not read so many books on enttrepreneurship because so many of the ones I found preached limitation without the reader knowing.
Naturally I read a lot, but instead of reading on entrepreneurship, I focused more on entrepreneurs. Although I did read some books on it.

One thing I learnt about limits was that sometimes it is not defined in clear cut terms. Take for instance, some people call themselves accomplished and successful entrepreneurs and host lots of motivational talks for people on how to be successful, but a quick look at them and you get another story. Someone preaching riches comes to an event looking rough, unkempt, and late. Without being told, you are already being taught limitation.

I earlier said the greatest lie we are told is the sky being the limit, this is largely due to the fact that realistically speaking, there is a place higher than the sky, what then makes you feel you cannot go higher?
A person who is a C.E.O. of a company might think he/she has found that sky, but do you know there are people who are the C.E.O. of two companies? So why do we use limiting terms.

Linking the bridge of limitation to the limitless place

Success is achieved when we leave our comfort zones. I was referring to ,y teenage years, which were almost impossible to pass through without it leaving a dent on you, but I decided not to be limited by even the thought of limitation.
I knew my bridge of limitation was just fear so if I wanted to be successful, I had to overcome my fears. It was not easy, I got the kind of comments that will make any an lazy

I realized why so many people attached limits to their potentials at a young age, it was because having limits to your potentials gives a sort of assurance that most people don't see the need to go further, but simply prefer to celebrate those who went further. I realized that comfort does not really get anyone fa, it takes you out of your current state, but it stops there.

The sky is in fact a door to the limit which is limitless. I am not referring to the sky we see above, I am referring to the obstacles we surmount.
In the movie "300", we see a limited amounted of warriors braving the odds which should have limited their chance of success, they connected their limitation to that limitless place and became virtually unstoppable.

J.K. Rowling, the popular author who wrote the Harry Potter series and Fantastic Beasts and where to find them once said that when she initially started writing, the books were somewhat designed for kids and people never expected it to even sell as much as it did, but guess what, the books became best sellers and almost everyone who has watched them, likes it.

There is this saying that goes: You never know how close you were to your goals before you gave up. I know of a story of someone, who quit on the day he was supposed to get a promotion because he felt he was not going to get it. People already helped him to set his limits and he fell for it.

Connecting to the limitless place first starts from the conscious decision to rise.

Many time it is the failures that bring success. Many of us want to give up too quick.

I will ponder on those words

i don't like it....I love it. Pushing beyond ones limit has always being the key to step up oneself game. Thanks for sharing

Someone preaching riches comes to an event looking rough, unkempt, and late. Without being told, you are already being taught limitation......this is so funny
