Grow your LinkedIn Connections
Having a big number of LinkedIn connections highly increases your chances to be found and to attract new amazing opportunities.
The LION Network:
This practice may be considered a bit "spammy". You should use it for a very short period of time, just enough to grow your number of initial connections (+500).
Who is a LinkedIn LION:
LION stands for LinkedIn Open Networker.
A LinkedIn LION is someone who is willing to grow his network of connections by accepting invitations from other LIONers and by actively connecting with them. Once you become a LION you will start receiving connection requests from other LIONers quite soon!
How to become a LinkedIn LION:
1. Modify your Headline:
On your LinkedIn profile, click on the pencil icon to edit your profile intro and place the text LION at the beginning of your Headline. .
2. Modify your LinkedIn Summary:
At the bottom of your summary write that you are part of the LION network and that you wish to receive and accept connections from other LIONers. You should also put the email you have used to register on LinkedIn for other LIONers to directly connect with you.

3. Join LION Groups:
There are quite a big number of LION LinkedIn Groups that you can join. People in these groups will be more than happy to receive and accept your connection requests! Browse them here: https://www.linkedin.com/search/results/groups/?keywords=LION
