That's when we started to be direct, respectful and honest people. Having an expression of healthy self-esteem. Where we will have respect for others, without falling into conflict, stress, anxiety.
There are 3 types of behavior
#Passive is that non-operational behavior, because we always go about pleasing the needs of others, accepting everything they ask of us without being able to refuse us, together such a person has low self-esteem, who does not trust himself to be successful and believe in his abilities. This type of person lives in frustration because he is silent about everything he would like to say, but his complex of feeling inferior and not valuing himself as a person, believes that doing everything he is asked to do feels a bit popular, but it is not so because it is a mistake of concept that he has of himself.
#Aggressive is that non-operational behavior, because he is always looking for his own need, he doesn't care about the well-being of others, wanting to get everything from arguments, insults, even threats. This type of person has high or inflated self-esteem, they think they are superior and live in humiliation. Mostly this type of people feel superior because they have everything they want through manipulation, getting out of their way, obtaining things by force, disrespecting anyone who lets himself be influenced.
#Assertive is that operative behavior, because you express opinions correctly and defend the points of view, while also respecting the rights of others, a being able to communicate effectively and satisfactorily where the effort to maintain good communication implies that things are resolved satisfactorily. This type of person has their normal self-esteem, which is reflected in the way they treat people. A person who is positive, harmonious and searching for solutions.
The characteristics of an assertive person start with having excellent communication, being kind and respectful. All these qualities are essential when we have partners, a friendship, in family and with those around us.
It is understood that every assertive person has to be:
*Self-confident.
*They accept the opinion of others.
*Improves interpersonal relationships with respect.
*Listen carefully.
*Goals are set.
*It is accepted as it is in a positive way.
*Learn to have good friendships.
*Know their virtues and fight for them.
*He knows how to handle his emotions and tolerate his frustrations.
