God cannot be proven to exist.
It is this way for a reason.
It is about free choice.
If God wanted everyone to believe in him/her/it then he would show up in a way that would leave no doubt. In fact, he could have just made our brains such that we couldn't think otherwise. (There are all kinds of things your brain cannot think of)
So, it is left as a personal journey of discovery. As you seek, so shall yee find. And in the end, you will know God is real, but you cannot prove it.
