ARTICLE SECOND PART
A life as a camper, third part
I lived like this for about a year and a half in the storage of Modena.
I was very well, the trailer was in fact my house and always remained fixed, to turn I used my van.
To make ends meet I was leafleting, do you know those nice people who fill your mailbox with advertising and they ring you at the doorbell at all times?
I was one of those funny guys ...
Leafleting is not well paid work, but offers greater freedom than traditional employment.
Every day at the end of the job I was free to give or not my willingness to work the following day and you could take all the vacation you wanted; obviously not paid in case of absence, but since I was accustomed to the 8-hour factory tax, it seemed like a pacca, a sense of freedom that I had never found in the jobs I was used to doing.
After the first year and a half spent in Modena, I was used to living near Ravenna, I felt the inescapable call of the sea and decided that I had to pursue an idea that I had since I was young, to move to Rimini, a town that I have always seen as "the land of toys".
Thinking, however, to replicate in the Rimini area what I was doing in Modena was impossible given the high prices of the garages, not to mention those of the campsites.
Of course I had a friend of Pordenone who every year came down to Rimini with his trailer, but for him it was a summer stunt, while I had to get organized to live 12 months a year and the caravan solution was not ideal.
You will then answer the original idea of the camper to use as a home.
Obviously my plans were clashing with the economic difficulties, but I was determined to make that change and I began to search the web for a camper that could cost as little as possible.
Ask and it will be given you always said and so soon I found the right deal.
I found an advertisement on the internet of a camper at 1900 euro in Trento and decided to go and see it.
I spent half a fortune to reach the seller of the vehicle, then when I found myself in front of the camper I understood why such an attractive price.
He was 28 and the weight of the years was seen all.
It was an old Ford Transit, a means now historical, the first impact was certainly not exciting and I was about to refuse, but then thinking about the long journey made and that with the little money available I would certainly not find the elsewhere, I decided to conclude the 'deal.
It was spring and I knew I could leave Modena for Rimini in time to enjoy my first Rimini summer !.
But the adventure does not end here ... the next episode
