People are always complaining about how messed up their lifestyle has become. They have no proper routine and are always feeling lazy and under the weather.
Today, I'll be sharing some tips for how to stay active and increase productivity.
Do not sleep more than required
Teenagers and even adults nowadays have totally messed up the timings in which one should sleep. As all of us have heard before that one should sleep 8 hours a day. However, let me tell you that it is okay for teenagers (13-19 age) to sleep for 8-9 hours.
WARNING: IF YOU SLEEP ANY LONGER THAN THAT, YOU WILL FEEL MORE LAZY AND PROCRASTINATE ABOUT EVERYTHING THE WHOLE DAY.
Exercise
Rolled your eyes after reading the word ‘exercise’?
Don’t think of exercising as some kind of torture. Think of it as fun. Everything depends on how you feel about it. One of the best types of exercise is the 7 minute workout. If you do that everyday, you will physically and mentally stay active throughout the day.!
Drink more water
According to many researches, one should drink 8 glasses of water everyday. However if you live somewhere where the temperature is high OR you are an athlete/ someone physically very active, you should drink more than 8 glasses of water.
Water not only keeps you hydrated but also helps you in weight loss. If you drink water before your meals, it is very beneficial because it will suppress your appetite. Water also helps you in burning calories. Less consumption of water may also result in you always feeling tired and mental fatigue.
If you have trouble in remembering that you have to drink water more often, keep a water bottle with you all the time. This is the best trick to keep yourself more hydrated. Always remember that your body is 70% water and to keep it moving, we have have to drink the amount of water required.
MANAGE YOUR TIME
Managing your time according to your needs is the most important thing to get an improved lifestyle. Remember, that every second in your life is very precious and you should do your best to make the most of it.
If you are a student, arrange your time for the school studies as well and for the home chores as well. Don’t forget to treat yourself too. The best way to arrange your time is to make a chart and paste it at some convenient place.
