Hii, steemian friend ... This time I will write about global warming.
The Earth is a planet that hosts living things like humans, plants, and animals. Earth is very important for living beings therefore keeping the earth is our common obligation.
Today, we often feel the climate or the extreme weather. As the sun rises in the morning, the hot temperatures begin to feel like they did not. Especially when the sun shines during the day in a tropical season, the temperature is very hot. Exposure to direct sunlight on our skin and face. Maybe friends also feel what I feel this. This is a symptom of global warming.
Global warming is an increase in average temperature across the entire surface of the earth, precisely in the atmosphere, land to sea. Global warming will be followed by climate change such as increased rainfall in some parts of the world such as erosion and flooding. While in the world experiencing the dry season due to rising temperatures.
The global average temperature on the surface of the Earth has increased by 0.74 ± 0.18 ° C (1.33 ± 0.32 ° F) over the last hundred years. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) concludes that, "much of the increase in global average temperatures since the mid-20th century is most likely due to increased concentrations of greenhouse gases due to human activities.
The effect global warming:
A. The greenhouse effect
The greenhouse effect is an atmospheric process to warm the planet. Greenhouse effect occurs due to heat reflected by the earth's surface which is then trapped by gases in the atmosphere. So that heat can not be transmitted to the outside but reflected back to earth.
B. Excessive use of CFCs
CFC or Cloro Flour Carbon is one of the chemicals that is combined into a material for producing the equipment, especially used for making household appliances. CFCs are in refrigerators such as refrigerators and air conditioners.
C. Deforestation
Forests have a function as an absorbent carbon dioxide (CO2) and release oxygen. If forests are damaged by irresponsible illegal logging, there will be an increase in the amount of carbon dioxide in the Earth's atmosphere. This is what causes global warming.
D. Waste of Electrical Energy
Electrical energy is one of the basic human needs. Without electricity, then our activities will be disrupted. Power plants need coal and oil to keep functioning. From the burning of coal and petroleum that can produce carbon dioxide.
Excessive Rubbish Burning
Burning excessive amounts of garbage will also lead to global warming or so-called global warming. Because of the burning of these waste will produce methane gas that can be concurrent heat in the earth's atmosphere.
**How to Overcome Global Warming **
Steemian friends, let's take care and care for this earth with the best. As young people, we must be sensitive to this problem. Because global warming is about the future of our children and grandchildren. If the earth is broken, there will be no life. To overcome global warming:
- Making Electricity Savings
- Plant Trees or Reforest
- Do not Cut the Forest Haphazardly
- Using Alternative Energy
- Reduce Fossil Fuels Use
- Reduced the use of CFCs
- Do Reuse, Reduce, and Recycle
