Infinite Love!

 The doors of my heart had been closed,

 All he did was impose, 

He left me wounded long ago and exposed,

 But there's a saying “If all doors close, make one”,

Somehow the door you opened, opened up to the door I had closed and everything was locked up, far away from everyone, 

I didn’t want to carry my heart on my sleeve, 

But when you walked in, 

you took it with a breeze,
This is no ordinary story,

 Nay! not an ordinary love story, 

How could it be, 

for I had found Rumi,

Understanding is an understatement,

It was something that no one had entirely accomplished ever or ever been near that achievement,

 I thought the previous was it, 

but all that happened was that I was left in bereavement. 

Today was no ordinary day. My days now are not ordinary anymore. No, because I have found much more. I had heard that the possibilities are always endless, but I would want them to become finite on him. He is my savior, my protector, my guardian, my well wisher. The support that he showed me today, the respect he gave me, it is something I have not felt in a while. Rumi might have died back in the days, but in every era there is a Rumi. I have found Rumi. I found treasure in the ruins.

His gaze was fixed upon me. He was looking into my eyes, maybe because he thinks they are beautiful, and mesmerizing, but I am pretty sure that my soul caught him staring at it. My soul told me that someone else’s soul resides with it. The two souls met in a field which was remote, not occupied with ideas of wrong or right doings. This reminds me of the night he held my gaze in the dark. That dark room where silence was prevalent. You could hear the other person breathe. He kept staring at me, a dark stare. A stare not filled with love, but disbelief. A gaze that had a begging emotion to it. It was questioning me, asking me a million questions. Time felt still. I could hear him breathe. I could feel the energy he was radiating off. I could feel his hands in mine.
