In 2008, during my study days, I had the great opportunity, to visit the Lamborghini factory and the museum in Sant'Agata Bolognese, in Italy.
But this was not just a regular factory to visit and see their production. We had a guided tour of the production lines, where we went step by step through the assembly of one of the car models, the station, seeing the different types of leather, which is used inside. They also told us a little about customization and the interior.
Seeing all the components like the powerful engines, suspensions, gearboxes, brakes, and finally the finished car, which is ready for testing staid in my mind.
Afterwards, we had the time to go through the museum. But this is not just a regular museum, you can see there a lot of historical moments from the early beginning to the key models from then to now.
I can't forget to mention a lot of racing cars, including Formula 1, car engines, and a lot of 4x4, carbon fiber, hybrids, and aluminum, etc...
I could write more about it, but why I just suggest you put this adventure on your travel "to do" list and see it for yourself. But I suggest you check their opening times, and information about booking on their web page.

Truely awesome travel you had, sadly we didn't have a chance to go, but I am planning a road trip threw Stelvio pass (Northern Italy, Alps) and hopefully visit the museum aswell. One day.

Some of them are really memorable. But unfortunately, we can just look them on our screens. Even if we would have enough money to own one, they are just not made for our terrible roads.
My college buddies stepped together and organized this trip. It wasn't free, but as I remember it wasn't expensive either. On this trip, we visited also Ferrari museum. But about that some other time.😉
