1.Focus on what you can control, not what you can't control. You can't
change them. They have to want to change for themselves. But you can
focus on being your best self in response to their bad behaviours.
2.Notice what expectations you want them to live up to - which currently
they either aren't capable of meeting, or aren't interested in meeting.
Release these expectations and use a mantra for acceptance, "it is what it
is, they are what they are."
3.Hold yourself to a higher standard, to always live in your integrity, even
when they don't. Practise peaceful response, to break any ways you might
be fuelling the fire.
4.Either you communicate calmly with them to collaborate for positive
change or reduce your exposure to their negativity.
