The tour of Estonia - Keila waterfalls

in life •  7 years ago  (edited)

If my mother knew what I’m doing this weekend, I would be in internal problems. Thank god she doesn’t so let’s continue. SO! As you know we are having a weekend getaway in Estonia and some Steemfest 2.57987Whatever. One helluva meet up anyway!

If somebody had asked me like a few days ago that would I get in car with bunch of strangers and let them drive me out of the city, I would have laughed my ass off, but for some reason that still happened, no regrets. Thank you @greddyforce for showing us around and not murdering us. I’ll appreciate it! I never thought that you could find sight like this, pretty much from the neighbor, because not like we have anything like this in Finland.

We need to make a habit out of this! So next time we travel, we need a local (photographer) guide to show us around, who is willing to leave us alive. Is that too much to ask?

Anyway, day 2 in Tallinn and we are going to meet others soon. Looking forward to see what we come up with!

Oh, and the photos are taken from a place, which name I can’t remember, so sorry about that. And they are freehand long exposures so don’t kill me if you pixel peep and the focus isn’t 100% perfect. That sight just was purely amazing as it looked like tropical but still is in middle of North-East Europe.

You know, the best thing about Steem is that even if it "fails," it's already succeeded. All the new friendships that have been forged on this platform... all the meet-ups. That's real companionship and happiness that have been generated and those things can never be undone no matter what happens to this place.

Every time I hear of Steemians getting together in meatspace it makes me happy.

Thanks for the pictures of the waterfalls-- very pretty. Enjoy the rest of the meet-up!

I absolutely agree! It is so cool to hang with these guys, i’m so glad that we managed to make this happen.

It was extremely beatiful sight.

From your photos this place kinda looks tropical yea :D Oh and the name is Keila waterfall, no need to thank me.

Doesn’t it! But those places were so cool! And yes, there is need for thanks :) It was amazing, so, thank you !

meeting of anonymous photoholics. sponsored and brought to you by G&T.

Pretty much 😂

is desire to be a bit photoholic enough to join the cult? Or do I have to sacrifice xxx people?

I enjoyed this place when i paid a visit recently! This actually was biggest natural waterfall i had seen!

Looks pretty good from the other side of the river as well! :)

It really was super cool sight to visit! When did you visit there?

Yeah, the fact that you can actually get super close is nice! I was there in April.
